Confluence Gardens is a one-acre private medicinal herb and food garden, attached to a private residence. It is evolving towards a collaborative venture and herbal free clinic.

We open our doors to gardeners, visitors, and herbalists in the Sacramento area and beyond, with the intention of cultivating and growing community around herbalism, plant medicines, and organic gardening. Contact us here to connect.

We cultivate over 100 kinds of medicinal plants, bees for their pollination and honey, as well as growing a range of organic fruits and veggies.

Location

We are located near Discovery Park, in Sacramento, close to the confluence of the American and Sacramento rivers.

Our garden is situated parallel to a busy road, so expect to hear ongoing traffic during your visit.

(An excellent opportunity to practice tolerance, and to quiet the mind enough to hear the messages of the plants. ;)

Reciprocity

The plants are constantly giving to us.

We structure our work parties and stewardship opportunities with the intention of encouraging the collective to receive the blessings and teachings of the plants, and to allow all interested to give their sweet medicine of devotion back to the Earth.

Confluence Gardens does this is by providing plant medicine education, plant medicines, and select organic produce to those who devote their time and energy to the land via our work parties, or through a commitment to land stewardship.
